Arriving in
New York City for the purposes of street photography on Saint
Patrick's Day weekend of 2007, I was greeted by a Friday
morning sleet-storm. After a couple of hours spent
skittering along sidewalks like a fiddler crab, camera in
hand, I decided I needed a padded camera bag, pronto.
Remembered having passed a Crumpler storefront during my last
trip. Crumpler bags are renowned (or reviled, as the case may
be) among bag-otaku photographers as being bulky and quite
heavily padded, so I leaped into a taxi and had myself
delivered, steaming and wobble-legged, to their door. |
